5 minute easy airbox mod. what do you think?

So I'm looking at the air box of my T100 thinking I'd try out the elbow removal mod. I looked inside the box an saw a tube that exits out the box into the fender where the infamous elbow connects. I unscrewed the 3 bolts of the airbox, lifted it, and pulled that tube out (I had to undo one rivit in the bottom of the box). Now, the hole on the fender side of the airbox is totally exposed (similar to what the deckplate mod would do, only on the side...maybe not as good?) Anyway, to put this back 100% stock all I have to do is lift the box, slide in the tube (which reconnects to the elbow when I put the airbox back in place), stick the rivet stem (or similar screw) thru the hole of the tube to the bottom of the box and just like stock. I haven't driven it yet but it should be like a combo of the elbow removal and deckplate mod.
Look foward to any comments.
