What exactly is reversing leafs???

Anyway, I am going to use 2" blocks for now. I wouldn't recommend removing any leafs.

reversing from what i have heard or seen from somewhere is flipping the leaf upside down and bolting the wheel to it so that you lower the car

Yes they are amazing. I wish I had better shots of that suspention handy for you. He baisically has 2 links on the back side of the axle and one on the front that has 2 mounting point on the crossmember. The front one keeps the axle centered. The bags are mounted on top of the rear links further back which gives more lift when aired up than if the bags were on top of the axle. It also give a better ride because of the ammount of leverage on the bags. With a properly set up air bag suspension system the truck will ride better and have a larger load carrying capacity than stock.

Yes you would get a very crappy ride with a static drop that low. And almost no suspension travel depending on how you build it. It would suck to drive lol. But it can be done.

I think drop spindles are the best way to go for the front. You wont loose any suspention travel and it should feel stock. Carefull when you go low though you may have to cut out your inner fenders. Ill bet that green truck has his fenders cut out and he still cant turn all the way. Lotsa guys will put up with not being able to turn all the way just to look good.

EDIT: I had a second look at the picture. Looks like he should be able to turn all the way without rubbing on the outer fenders. Cant tell for sure though unless you ask him.

Reversing the leafs is flipping them upside down. And as you can imagine would make for a VERY crappy ride. You will have very little travel because the leafs dont strech that way.

Go get some rectangle steel tubing. Make sure to tack it to the axle.

honestly, that's not too bad looking

BUT, your not getting that low in the rear without notching the frame and/or bagging...

EDIT: that has to be bagged; there's not other way to turn the front wheels, it would have to raise up a bit

He could be bagged in the front and not in the back. I wanna see the cardomain page that came off of. I cant find it. Do you have a link to it? That should have some answers.

after looking at drop blocks, i have a solid block of aluminum that should theoretically work fine to drop the back a good 1.5 inches. It seems relatively simple to make as well, just a steel block or box that would go on the back. Drop spindles would really be the only major cost, and i could go junkyard searching for em...

If you guys look at that green lowered truck you will also notice that it has the 4x4 fender conversion so the wheels will tuck.

Just currious why you lowered it? With those off road lights up front it looks like it should be raised.
