Are you satisfied with your OME 881/906 setup?
I have an 02' lowrider that i'm ready to lift and put on some 32s, but im not liking the amount of tire gap that I see on the full 3" lift. Especially in my case since my truck lacks fender flares. I was looking into either 99 coils or the OME 881/906 setup with comfort shocks. I've read mixed opinions on both, but I thought I'd query some other owners to get a take on their setups. I also have a brush guard but I don't think that will put any stress on the light duty OME coils in front.

Also, Steve's FAQ section has saved me a wealth of time and money figuring out what I wanted and getting it correct the first time. There are many other great resources too, good luck with your truck build.

I have the 881/906 setup. The 906's have been great, the 881's setteled so much that I now have uneven wear on my front tires and need to have the alignment done again. I should have rotated my tires sooner.

I too am worried/wondering about this as Im really leaning toward new 265/75/r16 cooper stt's and dont want them to look oddly small.....with the wheel setup I have now I rub with the same size bfg all terrains so I'm sure I would rub even with a 3" lift with 285's. In the very near future I am getting the OME 3" kit and new tires before winter sets in
oh the delima...

why not just go 3" and run 32's now... most people regret just doing the that medium drop and end up doing the 3"... 881's with the spacer or 883/ 882's... i have a pair of 882's that are going on sale pretty soon

I haven't seen anybody doing that... wouldn't tires look too small?

I started out with upgrading my coils to 99 springs front and back. The problem with that was even with the new springs, the rear seemed low. So I installed the 906 coils and left the 99's up front and has been the best thing I have done. Now my truck rides better, sits level, and doesn't sag with a 100lbs of stuff in the back. If you want to keep close to stock go this route, but if you want a lift, go with the 3". I love my set up but if I had it to do over again I would have gone taller.
