What you guys didn't tell me about the Tunda brake upgrade
It is a real PITA to sand off all the rust underneath the original rotor before you install the new Tundra rotor.
I must have spend an hour each side getting it to look pretty.
..and no one mentions what direction the brake wear indicators go on the new pads (up or down). I ended up looking at pictures in several different posts and determined that the should go up.
FYI torque on the braket that holds the ABS wire and hydrualic tube is 22ft/lbs.

I probably would have ignored the rust, but the guide I was following indicated it should be removed.

I feel better knowing it's gone, but it sucked getting it off.

I just did my lower ball joints today and took off the rotors, just a few taps with a hammer and block of wood and they were broke loose, no rust behind them either. She's an Iowa girl born and raised, salt and snow every year. I have rust elsewhere but the brakes are always easy to do.
