Walbro Fuel Pump: strange noise...any ideas?

I was just throwing out a suggestion, I have no idea about the walbro 190s'. For all I know the 255s' could have had a very large bad batch come out. Just remember, if the whining starts turning into a pulsing whine and then on and off muffled rattling noise. just cross your fingers, because they all did about 20 miles before they went. Except the quickie, it just up and died.
