No I it was not my fault for the accident. She was issued a ticket for "Failure to yield right of way." (I beleive it also 3 pts and $200 fine)..
WV doesn't have a law about cell phones.
I am thinking about buying it back, however I have to convince my dad about leaving a "junked vehicle" in the driveway.
I have 140K miles on the engine and it was running like new. If they give me a good amount I am just going to take the money and run, but if they give me a lower amount I'll buy and part out (Please DON'T ASK for parts yet).
But I should know something in the next day or two, the adjuster has been given the assignment.

thats a shame....again, our yotas protected us from injury...anyways i would total it if i were you than maybe buy it back if you can get it for cheap from your ins company.
My dads 01 runner suffered a worse accident before we bought it. The previous owner for a lack of better words ÅÅÅÅED up the 4runner. The runner is 100% rebuilt from the seats foreward...i cant imagine how much the previous owner spent on fixing it. New engine frame is half new\old...airbags..paint fenders....the engine they put in im guessing was new out of the crate. They dipstick is 100% clean..unless they changed their oil pre 3k miles every time.
and we purchased it for $6k

Man, I'm sorry for your loss, but (like everyone says) at least you weren't hurt. Those pics are darn near painful, as your truck looks a little too familiar . . .
