Tire decisions with coil lift

Ok guys, heres the situation: I've got a set of ball joint spacers, set of cruiser coils, some pro comp 3000 shocks and all the brakeline and brackets needed for the spacer cruiser coil lift. I'm gonna have some help with the tires from Xmas, so I'm ready to put this thing together but can't decide what size I'm shooting for.

I guess what I'm wanting to know is the different tire combinations you all are using with the bjspacer-cruiser coil lift and maybe a 1-1.5" RB BL. I would kinda like to get 33s but if 32s look decent I'd try that...its maily a DD and I don't do any hardcore wheeling so the comparison is mainly looks. Generally don't care too much for body lifts so would like to keep it as minimal as possible.

I've spent most of the day on the slow a$$ computer searching but gave up, and thought this might be the better way to go. Thanks alot

i dunno exaclty what lift ur putting on, how high is it gonna go? i had 32x11.5 and just moved up to 33x12.5. i've got like 4" lift and the tires rub when turned and flexed any. if ur not gonna wheel much, the 32s are pretty much the same... but if u have enough lift get 33s. just better to say you've got 33s than 32s.

Thanks for the reply Rowan.
As far as the lift goes, I'm using SDORI's Ball joint spacers for the front and stock cruiser coils for the rear. From what I have heard, I believe I will gain about 2.5-3" in the rear. I'd like to go for 33's for a few reasons, mainly because theres more to choose from and because bigger is better. That being said, I'm not wild about bodylifts, so who knows. If figure if its close, I'm always up for some minor trimming and pounding.
Thanks again for the reply. I know there are several members here with this lift, I guess they're just out enjoying the christmas break and haven't chimed in yet.

I have 33's with stock rear coils, no BL, and stock torsion bars cranked. I plan on BJ spacers, downey coils, and rogers 1" BL. I will then install 33X10.5 tires. I have the skinny 9.5's now. The 9.5's don't rub, they are just too skinny. The set up you are talking about should be ok as long as you don't go too wide on the tires.

thanks for the reply Mike. I'm wanting to go with either 33x12.50s or 32x11.50 mainly because of looks and the fact that there are more to choose from.

Did everybody take off their bjspacers and cruiser coils?
Guess I'm too late for the fun.

Another question: Does anyone know someone good to talk to on 4x4wire or any other forum that runs this sort of lift?

my plan is 33x12.5's once i actually have some money. i helped WSU4Runner do the exact same lift to his truck the next day he got 33's and there were rubbing problems all over the place when flexing. since you'll be getting a lot more flex in the front with the BJ spacers, you'll have pretty much all the rubbing issues up there. i remember watching him pull out of parking spot and seeing his tires come insanly close ot the front valance with out he suspension flexing at all. if your not affraid of pounding and cutting you wont need a BL. Flygenstien or whatevery his name is (sorry i can never remember it) is running a 1" BL and had to do some cutting/pounding.

i also don't care much for body lifts and am aiming for a 1.5" body lift and maybe some very moderate pounding. i just need money, wich never seems to come my way.

the reason these other guys without the BJ spacers can get away with 33's with just their torsion bars cranked down is because of the extreme lack of flex from the tightening of the torsion bars. the spacers let you get more movement out of the torsion bars because you don't have to crank them as much.
