Okay guys I have a couple more questions for you.

1) I have a 90 4Runner SR5, now with the back window having a wiper, the wiper arm and such has since been taken off as it quit working. (done by previous owner) Now I want to maybe think about trying to get it fixed, or fixing it myself. Does anyone know where i might find the motor for it? Or whatever connection it is that Controls it.

okay I lied I only have one question. Oh also, thanks to all those who helped out with my other problem, it did turn out to be my alternator. I changed it out in about an hour and a half and now it works great.

so do you still have the wiper arm? are you sure that the motor is dead you may want to check fuses and relays and such. i would maybe look on ebay for the motor if that is the problem and for the arm as well, if you don't have it. http://nix99.com/ would probably have the parts, they're local for me, i don't know if they do much business online. hope this helps a little

 

i would go the junkyard and look or look on ebay...you can always probaly get one from a dealer ($$$$) anyways there is a wiring harness in the tailgate from what i can remeber which spilts up indivudlaly to each motor and light and whatnot in the gate..(i put a new one on mine) you shuold be able to plainly see the place where it goes...dont forget about junkyard freebees while your there. (knobs and stuff)
