Reg Knows 7M's. If you are going turbo you will need to do the head gasket and lap the block and head on any 7M based engine.

Turbo's are not well known for serious out of the hole bottom end and may not be the best off road choice.

Actually Reg travels to Germany now and then for his Dinan BMW and TTE stuff.

I hadn't read your sig at the bottom and didn't get that it was a 7M that you had in your runner. YUP better gas will likely make a 7MGE make more power and get better milage.

I used the 7M-GE because I didn't know what type of engine the supra had. I put a bid on an auction and got it without ever seeing it. I used it to make the swap, since I can allways get an 7M-GTE to bolt in.
Now that time has come, but the engine has busted a rod. I'm not sure what to do with it, repair the engine or use my 7M-GE short block as a donor and put all OEM 7M-GTE stuff, including head, on it.
Maybe I buy it just for the parts alone, like the wiring, ECU, Maf etc. Those things don't go around much overhere so....

87, as it says use 87 less it starts to ping, which it doesnt. I do how ever TRY to buy Chevron when possible. Never was a believer in the stuff, but Ive done enough reading now, Techron IS a viable product, and why go through the hassle of adding it as a additive, when you can buy gas with it IN IT? :wtf:
