First of all dexter the visor stays (because i'm used to it) no other reason. Next once I'm satified with the end product Doink is first in line. Tenfortyeight it's still a work in progress so lets wait and see. And Trunner just so you know I installed the fuzzy dice mod all by my self. As for all the rest of you guys thanks for your replys its nice to here some input from someone else. I usually get (What the Heck are you doing now) from my dear sweet wife.

IMH(worthless)O I agree about flowing the lines of that center buldge.. Although, I was supprised, I think the scoop is decent for that style on that hood. But I think one more tear dropped shaped with a front opening that would accent that center buldge and flowing it back would fit that hood very nicely. That said, nice job all in all..

Tenfortyeight and Firefyter-Emt I do understand what your talking about but my first goal was to put some thing together cheaply with what I had. The original cowl was only so big and the contours of the OEM hood do not fit a typical shape for this type of mod. I also didn't want to use excessive amounts of either fibre glass or body filler as this would add more weight and possibilitys of cracking from dropping the hood closed. The weight as it is now allows the hood to be dropped in place without stopping with a slam. It's still a ways to go and once a final product I may produce an all glass hood with a ridgid sub frame. Still in all it isn't turning out badly, very little investment and only about 4 real hours of work. And I never seen one before on a 4Runner.

I'm not saying it looks bad, cause it doesn't. It looks great, I'd put one on my truck, but I think it would just flow better. And no way I could do any better than that.
