I got those rotors and they warped during the bedding. right off the bat on the bedding i should say. After the 3rd run i felt it and it just got worse. So yea i DO know exactly what i am talking about. (plus the exact same thing happened to severl other guys...)

yeah, i had a set of brembo - drilled & slotted & i had them CRYO'D (deep freezing for those unfamiliar) for use on my 03 tacoma dbl cab and they warped the 2nd day i had them. NEver again buy those. I have always stuck with the dealer rotors and never had them warp.

You should examine the effects improperly torquing your lug nuts can have on rotors, not to mention they need to be properly bedded in.

If you are changing pads more than once in 35,000 miles than something isn't right.
Every bolt was torque to the exact specs in the book.

And I had to change the pads about once every 20k or so. About twice a year. The reason was that when delivering pizzas the stop and go driving eats brakes for lunch no matter what you do. I had 3 cars and some would last longer than others during that stint at pizza delivering. Some would eat brakes faster than others. My civic would need new pads about every 10K where my ford escort GT would only need it about 25K.
