Loose Driver Side Rearview Mirror
A few weeks ago I noticed the mirror shaking and discovered it to be completely loose. In fact, I think the only way its staying on is the ventshade's 3m adhesive. I don't know anything about this, but upon closer inspection I saw a screw loose inside
tried taking off the tweeter inside, to no avail. However, when i had it semi pried open i didn't see anywhere i would be able to screw it back in. Anyone had any problems, and, more importantly, anyone know how to fix this?

My drivers side came loose also. I did get my tweeter/cover off. You are right there is a screw or two, I don't remember how many, back there that holds the mirror on. It was strange, the tweeter/cover was coming off at the same time the mirror was coming loose. One of the tabs that hold the cover on broke. I had to use silicone to hold it back on, worked great, been that way for about a year now.

so you have to take the tweeter cover off to screw the mirror back into place? how the hell do you take the cover off, i tired leveraging it off with sticking a flathead halfway in and pulling and it felt like i was going to break it

that screw you have pictured is designed to catch the mirror and keep it from falling out. Its doing its job well i see heh. You should have 3 small bolts that hold it in place, they are not screws. Something like a 8mx1.0 thread pitch, or somehting like that I believe.
