Why go for tone/note if your replacing your exhaust?? Go for perfomance.
Either way...Go with a Supertrapp and be done with it. 120.00 for carbon steel and 190.00 for stainless steel at Summitt. I liked mine so much I picked up a stainless one on ebay for 63.00 that will go on the 84 when I get it rebuilt. They are 100% tunable for note/tone or perfomance. Just straight pipe from the cat back to the trapp. Then play with the tuning and find your sweet spot (weather that be performance or tone/note).
