Leaf springs sitting on exhaust...
Right now, sitting in the driveway, my rear passenger leaf spring is touching the the exhaust. I'm just now noticing this. Apparently when I get any downward wheel travel in that fender, the springs are hitting my pipes. In one of the pictures you can see that the rubber clip is broken from the spring pressing down on the pipe. I'm worried about this causing leaks or even worse, ripping out my muffler/exhaust. You guys with lifted Tacomas how did you fix this problem?? Can I run a straight pipe out the back from the muffler?? Is there enough room?? Where do your pipes exit?? Thanks guys....

Im guessing you did not move your exhaust after installing any suspension upgrades, right?
Check out TTORA.com... The Tacoma guys have to reroute their exhaust (just by putting a new hangar) after doing any sort of suspension changes in the back.
The other option is just to take a sawzall to it, like I did.

Sawzall it under your truck or have an exhaust shop re-route it over your leaf springs. It is rubbing because you added shackles.
I prefer the sawzall method, that is what I did.
