I sold the 2000 4Runner
Well I sold it guys. A nice guy here in Phoenix bought it. I learned a lot from this 2000 4Runner sale. I had 10 people on a waiting list for it, including a guy from Atlanta. I think I undershot what it was worth on my asking price, but I still made out well, so no complaints. After all, the buyer gave me what I was asking.
I can tell you one thing, newer 5-speed 4Runners are in demand. Granted, the market is extremely narrow for 5-speed candidates, but I learned that the guys (and gals) that want the rig – really want the rig.
I bought it on 11/15 and sold it on 12/3. Not a bad turnaround!
Anyway, my 96 is happy with me, and is looking forward to the Body Lift and Edelbrock Headers that have been ordered for it. The headers will go on sometime in January, and I am thinking write-up.
Just thought I would share. Later!

Good job Christian!!! I was worried that you would be stuck with it for a while but that is really a quick turn-around. As long as you didn't lose money over the entire deal then the asking price was right.

Nice!
Hopefully you directed them over this way and they decide to check in
If your wife is understanding enough to support the purchase of a 2nd runner and the resale of it I don't see how she wouldn't be supportive of some extra *lower priced* toys
