How many quarts in trans after flush?

I just had to flush my trans out after the pink milkshake. Now I have the B&M 70264 cooler but think I used way to mush fluid. I refiled with 8Qts and it reads pretty high on the dip stick. The book said 10 so I thought I'd leave 2 to spare. I'm guessing the torque converter didn't empty out. Way to much hugh? Probly should have been like 4Qts right?

About 16qts to flush the system. Only about 4-5qts in the pan if you just drain it. When I dropped my pan I had about 6.5qts poured into the bucket.

Thanks, I drained it and put 3Qts back in. Gonna go camping tonight so I'm bringing another 2 qts with to top it off after I get a good op temp reading.
