Getting back into the toyota "rig" scene...
Well, as people told me back in july, selling my '85 runner would be a huge mistake. I wholeheartedly regret it now.
Don't get me wrong, my new car is just fine, but there is something about a 4runner that just calls to me
So, I am here to ask a few questions, being a 19 year old college student, money is my biggest issue.
Right now my current car is a 1988 Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE92, FWD, sorry )
The car has just over 170,000 miles on it. The paint is in great condition with typical wear and tear. Power everything with every single option possible. It is white with blue interior. I am going to put it up for sale for around $3500.
Now, I would love to get another 85 runner. However with the problems I had with my old one, I really would like to look for a 88-89 just because of all the power options and preferably an sr-5 model (yes no SFA, but that is the least of my concerns).
I know a few people who have found amazing deals from others on yotatech, whether it be buying directly from a board member, their friends, or even auctioning.
I live in the Seattle area, and will be putting my car up for sale within the next few weeks. I am looking to possibly break even, but I can spend no more than $500 out of my own pocket to purchase my new 4runner. Any advice, tips, and/or money ( ) would be appreciated,
Thanks guys, and sorry I didn't stay in touch after I sold the runner

yes it's an ae92, not a rwd 86!!
But I got a deal on it I could not pass up, bought it from a good family friend, so I knew the car was in great shape.
I don't want a 3rd Gen 4runner. I was/am so attached to the 1st gens.
