fuel injectors 1998 vs 1999
I am replacing the V-6 engine in my 1999 4runner SR5 with an engine out of a 1998 4runner V-6 SR5. Had to swap engine wiring harness,ECU connectors are different so will have to use the ECU supplied with the 1999. I have found out the fuel injectors have a different part number 1998 vs 1999. My question is will the 1998 fuel injectors work off from the 1999 ECU?

Yes, they will.

Decided prior to your responses to put the 1999 injectors into the 1998 engine. Nothing but bad on that decision. First off purchased Fel-Pro ES70600 O-rings to use on the injectors, too large, fit loose on the injector, way too much force even with silicone lubricant to seat the injector. Fired up fuel pump to pressure up the system before installing plenum, a few leaks from the rail to the injector. Now have to purchase new O-rings from Toyota at $4.85 a piece plus new rail gaskets again. I guess I should have known better hoping the O-rings not seating correctly would work out.
