Ok I have the lc coils for the rearend in route via UPS. Looking at options for the front. I can use Tundra springs or coil spacers is what I've narrowed it down to. My friend and I are planning this out and he has suggested using another front strut mount and welding a piece of pipe (cut to length so truck is level) to the existing mount then bolting it back on. Anyone tried this or have any input on this way of lifting the front? Thanks in advance.

dont weld anything,,,, just go get the fabtech taco lift and bold it up, then figure out what to do with the rear,,,,, maybe go with leaf springs and you could have a 6in lifted runner for same price,, maybe alittle more

Tundra coils. And whenever you use LC rears you'll still have rake depending on which coils you get and the condition they are in. Wouldn't recommend welding pipe to front struts, IMHO you'll be asking for it.

Go Tundra TRDs. You wil probably need a trim packer or two on the fronts to minimize the rake. TRDs will give you about 1.75"-2" of lift. From what I have heard the LC coils will give you 3"-3.5" (depending which coils you have, number of wraps) I would not/did not go with spacers because of the age of my springs. They were sagging and a spacer on a sagging spring will continue to sag.

I'm running LC's in the rear and Tundra coils up front with 2 3/8" spacer for an extra inch up front.

Does it matter what year the tundra is for this? I have a 2000 4runner.

i bought 3" spacers for my 99' 4runner as well as new struts all from 4 wheel parts. its a really good idea to do the new struts cause the old ones are not very strong and theyre pretty short

I have the LC Coils are Tundra's with 2, count em, 2 sets of topout sets of topout spacers. a total of 4....pic:

You can get spacers from http://www.cornfedsuspension.com/

Wheelers offroad or Sonoransteel can get you Daystar spacers.

Then you can also use Old man emu coils (881's or 882s). Or Tundra coils.

Lift coils and spacers together are not recommended. Either or type thing.

I have the revtek 3" with a extra 1/2" hardened spacer on top of that. I had the spacers lying around the shop. My LC coils are from a 97
