cut out flares help

I'm currently in the process of putting a few things on my '04 tacoma, in the process my truck's going up 3 inches with 33 inch tires. I was wondering if buying bushwacker cut out flares(I like the aggressive look) is necessary, and if I'll need front and back or just front.
I appreciate any help and tips, especially with installation if anyone has experience with that.

I had a 98 Tacoma with a 3" BL and OME 3" suspension with Wheelers black 15" wheels that have 3.75 BS on them. I had BFG MT KM 33x12.50x15 and I had the Bushwacker EAFs and the tires stuck out past that a bit and threw crap all over the sides of my truck. I then went to the Cut Out flares and they provided the needed coverage and I felt were well worth it. Just take your time when cutting and be sure to take your time when drilling the holes also. They looked tough and covered the tires great.

Not that great a pic to show the flares but you get the idea.

Here are the Extend A Fender flares

I appreciate the info. I'll be mindful with the cutting and riveting, for sure. Did you buy them as a set of 4? Whenever I look them up it's front pair only, how did you go about buying yours?

It's been a while, about 3 years since I bought them so I honestly don't remember, sorry. I think the rears for the 4X4 and 2WD are the same but the fronts are different. At the time the part # for the 4X4 was wrong on the EAFs, I think the Cut Outs were fine and sold as a pair. Still though, I can't remember for sure.
