sorry for another lame shock question, but does anybody use or know people that use procomp ES9000's?

I was thinking of getting them but heard that they might be too stiff...

thanks!

I just put them on and they seem pretty nice. I have the pro comp lift and have seen your ride before and wondered if you have bj spacers also? sorry about the hijack...Jay...

I have the Procomp AALs and the ES3000s (I think?)
The ride is much stiffer in the back than the front where I have OMEs on stock coils.

so they weren't too stiff?

I have had BJ spacers on for a little bit.
see https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f31/new-tires-ome860s-ball-joint-spacers-pics-52509/ for details.

I am run with the es9000 in all 4 corners, the best thing that I ever did. The olny reason I thought they were stiff is because the stocker I took off were completed wasted...we timed it and it the ones off the left side took 15 minutes to return to normal height after full compression by hand off the truck.....it was easier to compress the shocks then it is to squeeze a empty can......I have put es 9000 on 5 4 runner in Japan and not one ower has had a bad thing to say about them....I am also running e es 3000 steering damper another great improvment.....

thanks for the replies,

I'm looking at going with es3000s or es9000s... some people say the 9000s will be too stiff, some say not...

anybody else have any input?

I have the 3000s. Very nice. They are slightly stiffer than stock, but the ride is much more controlled, and it handles better. Off road, they are a billion times better than stock. As for the 9000s, I couldn't tell ya anything about them. But I would think that they would be rather stiff, unless all you do in your rig is wheel.

Hey Mikronized, That link was great. I will also be doing the spacers now for sure. I do think that the 4" lift shock will be to short. I have not mesured to find out , but they dont seem to be very long.
Just a thought.... Jay....
