99 Tacoma squeak (Annoying)

Hey, ive got a 99 Tacoma. anytime i go about 30 miles an hour i get a freaking squeak. i cant tell if it is coming from the back or front. but it sounds like a heat shield or something metal. i have removed all of the heat shields and it still squeaks. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

If it is a constant steady whine its gonna most likely be your speedometer. if it sounds like something rubbing everytime you hit a bump it could be your springs but maybe a loose bed mount which would explain why it goes away with a load.

u joints. when you put a load in the bed it squats which then the length and angle on the dshaft changes which makes the sqeak change.

next step is to grease them up real good and try again.

I agree with the sloth, grease all those joints especially the cardon joint, some of the fittings are kinda hard to find. It's easiest to put the rear of the truck on jackstands so you can spin the driveshaft by hand to get to the zirks.

Or,
Have you ever replaced the center support bearing? I just had my driveline redone and the builder said that the aftermarket CSB's are notorious for causing a squeel, as mine was doing. The original dust shields don't mate up well with the new CSB and rub/squeek/squeel. I haven't put my drive shaft back on yet, tomorrow hopefully!

Yea i have already greased up all of the bearings on the drive shaft. and it still squeaks. when i press the gas at about 30 mph its a rattle, then when i let off the gas it turns into a squeak ( sounds like a bird chirping)
