96 Tacoma, So lost.
Ok, like I mentioned in another post I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. I have some 33x12.5's I just picked up recently and am looking to lift it. I have heard so many different opinions on what the best way to go is that I am more lost from where I started. Spending a little extra is not a problem. I have ruled out body lifts and am looking at suspension lifts. I have heard from some the stock springs on the 96 Tacoma are a little soft to just go with spacers. All in all I pretty much have no idea where to even start with this so the more information you could provide the better. Any information any of you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot guys.

your main concern with rubbing will be with wheel fitment. not sure if the 33/12.5's will fit OK on taco's..but on 3rd gen runners..its a hit n miss on stock 16's.
lotsa info on here re: lifts. height adjustable coilovers or the tundra/oem front setup are what most people run. spacers are also an option...but you sacrifice ride quality.
lotsa searching to do. all the info is out there...
