3rd gen Bumpers
Hey Guys... 'n Gals,
I've been thinking about replacing the painted bumpers on my Surf with the chrome one's. All the JDM Hilux Surf 3rd gen's have painted bumpers and I really fancy the idea of having the chrome ones like you guys have. I've seen them on ebay, and the rear 3piece section is very expensive. But, I saw on another thread an autoparts discount store. They had them for at least 1/3 the price. Does anyone know the store I'm refering to? If so, whats the quality of the parts like?
**Anyone selling the front and rear 3piece chrome's, give me a shout**
What do ye think guys, would they suit the dark blue with the silver flares and body cladding???

I've got a chrome front bumper. It's got a very small dent under the passenger side (U.S. passenger side) signal lens. It's yours for free, just pay shipping. Not sure if you're intrested because of the dent, but if you don't get any better offers...
Let me know... it's just sitting in my garage right now.

@ Jackson, Wow that would be great, What would the shipping to Ireland run to?
Plus I have to change my avatar, since that pic I have removed the stock push bar and replaced it with a polished s/steel a-bar. I'll post up pics when I find a good pic hosting site.

"Truck" to Ireland? That would be hard
Why not UPS? They are world wide not just the States...
I personally like the monochromatic look over the chrome. But, like everything else...you always want something you don't have

@pdfaxe,
How true, Any 3rd gen in Ireland are JDM imports and they all have the painted bumpers. You guys have chrome, I suppose it's because there is no chrome bumper 3rd gens over here that I want them
I had the chrome bumpers on my 2nd gen and I thought they looked great. It was a black body with silver flares and cladding and a chrome a-bar. I'll try to dig out a pic...
Would standard US post not ship over to here via ground?

what I was trying to say was (in between seeing patients) is that its to large to ship via UPS, so you would need to send it via freight truck if shipping within the US. and if UPS doesn't accept it for US shipping, I'm sure they won't take it for international shipping. But I don't know that for a fact, only assuming.
