32" Tires Will They Fit(No Lift)???
Okay here may go another stupid newbie question but I can't learn w/o asking. Does BFG make a 32" A/T Tire(not the M/T's I don't wheel enough for those) and if so would they fit under my 96' Runner (stock, no lift)*for now*?

Excuse me while I step on some moderator toes here...
Check out the FAQ section, there's a lot of really good info and links on tires, mods, lockers, etc., etc.
(I only know this because I was sent there)

Since your's is a 4x2 I think You might have some minor rubbing at full steering lock and some suspension stuff. (Speed bumps). Stock 4x2 springs are shorter than those on stock 4x4s and therefore there is less room for tires.
My suggestion would be to take out the old tape measure. Measure your actual current tire diameter, and width. Then measure tire to fender clearance at full steering and suspension limits, stuffed and drooped, right and left. Then do the math to determine if the big tires will rub or not. Then post results for other 4x2 owners to know. I don't think there are many 4x2 Runners on the board so I doubt that anyone has done these measurements ON A 3RD GENERATION 4X2 4RUNNER yet. Also please post regarding what wheels you run, that matters.
P.S. Your issues will be up front. I think the rear will be ok with stock wheels. But I have never seen a 4x2 in person so better measure the rear to.

i have 31's on my 2wd '98 and it rubs a little when i am at full turn. so i would say that 32s would not fit. if you want to find out for yourself you might be able to take it to a tire shop and they can test it out for you by putting the tires on and turning the wheel. but i would say they wont fit.

Thanks man, glad to know I have another 4x2 brother out there. Sometimes I feel like the only one. But I thought it was a streach myself to stuff 32s under a stock 2WD Runner. But now after talking to alot of these guys I'm looking at getting 2.5" of lift w/ front spacers and rear coilovers. But right now I'm gona put on the 31s (I really need tires right now) and so after the lift and I burn off the new tires I'll look at the 32s. Thanks again guys.

Cool Deal man, if you can talk the wife into letting you make a quick stop on teh way from Charlott to the beach, take a swing into Uwarrhii(BIG s.p). Seeing how I'm only a 4x2 I can't hang there but I make alot of trips down there w/ my 4WD buddies. It is a great place to get nice a muddy and do alot of great things. It's got a nice all around theam to it, you can do all the mud hole diving you want and there's plenty of rocky areas to go climb'n on for those of you with a want to crack and break all that you can. It's a great place, if not at the beach find a way to take the Runner out on some of the beaches and the outer banks, there are plenty of good places to go wheel'n. But then again you do have to spend sometime w/ the wife. Wheel'n around here could take all that time away.

I ran 32's on my 94' for quite awhile without a lift and the only time I rubbed was backing up and turning. Any respectful tire shop will not put the wrong size tire on your vehicle so talk to someone you trust. BFG does make that size tire and depending on how wide a tire you go will also decide how much rubbing you get. Note: Just got back from Goldsboro and the Outer Banks. Had a good time but very hot and humid. Makes jolly old England very comfortable right now. Later, Johnny
