i've got a friend that say's he's got some "1100's" 15 inch that he'd give me. this truck needs some tires pretty bad, but not on the critical list. it's got bfg at's 31x10.5's right now with out any probs.
question is will the 11's fit? it's a stock truck right now and the 10.5's fit without any probs so far.

while i'm asking................
what tires would you suggest........... big word here is "sorta cheap" easy on the wallet, if you will.
i'd like some 31x10.5's if these "freebies" dont work out.
they're not gonna have many highway miles on them. this truck was mainly bought to keep the miles down on my 99 tacoma, and it will be used for running around the rural community that i live in.
you know.........going to the resturaunt to eat lunch everyday and to the hardware store and such.

C'mon bama, you got this cheap, old truck, that you can bang the crap out of, and you want to use it for "on road"???

To answer the question, you might have some rubbing, not sure what wheels you have. Try cranking your tires all the way to the left (or right) and see how close the 10.5's are, then add about 1/4" to the rubber, and that's about where you will be with the 11" tires. Since you won't be using it too hard, I would only be worried about rubbing on the frame in turn, I doubt you will be flexing it a ton and rubbing elsewhere.
