I will let you know for sure. I hope to hold out untill URD puts out thier turbo port fueler instead of getting the 370's. Either way, I will probably have the 318's available. Ricky's doing some road tuning today then it will be off to the dyno!!

I'll be at the dyno if I can slip out of work!

The kit will include a front mounted intercooler, as well as everything else you need, except fuel management. This is because many of you already may have it. If not, im working with URD on the port fueler for my kits. It includes all the little stuff too, even down to the stencils on where to cut for intercooler piping. I did a little bit of tuning with the split second R4 software today... pretty user friendly... however its still lean under part throttle, so more tuning is in order for tomorrow..and the kickdown cable needs some adjustment ..As for a price, the kit will most likely be around 3600-3800...well worth it for the performance gains you'll receive

UPDATE! Dyno session is not going to be untill next week. Ricky at SpeedFactory has been road tuning and cannot go over 7-8 lbs of boost with the 318cc injectors without going lean as hell. I feel this is a good sign though and shows the efficiency of the intercooler at work! Anyways, I had a long talk with Brian at URD and he suggested I install the bosch 440cc's which should enable me to boost up to 12-13 lbs or so which is enuf for me right now. Injectors should be here on Monday and will be a direct plug in replacement for my current injectors. I will keep you all posted on the progress and results!!!

I am not surprised the 318s are leaning out above 8psi. I calculated that at about 300HP you are running those 318s at near the edge of their duty cycle. If you were willing to push the 440s to their limit you could probably get as high as 410-420HP before they begin to give you a lean out condition (if you stay near 80% duty for safety, you'll only be at about 365-370HP instead with those same injectors). In order to make 400HP at 80% duty cycle you really should be running almost a 500cc injector.

Thanks MTL for the info. I am only going to have these 440's in for about a month or so untill URD comes out with thier turbo port fueler. It will be using the stock injectors pluse an injection plate sandwiched between the upper and lower intake with my 6 318's that are in there now. Now that's alot of fuel!!

EEEK!
Hey Jamie... Your HP numbers are crank right? So are you saying that if I run Gregg's old 318's, then I won't be able to stay fed as I get to 375hp? I'm well above 300hp now and I know I can push it rich on 305's. Do you have a reference for the math so that I can play with sizes on my own?
Maybe I should wait and pick up Gregg's soon-to-be old 440's...
