Okay guys my head is officially spinning. I have read all the threads and links on hear regarding suspension but hteere is not a lot covering the 2wd. Hopefully some if the suspension gurus can help me out. I have a 1999 2wd v6 4runner with 120k on it. The suspension pretty much bounces all over the place when I go over speed bumps or dips in the road.

So what I am looking to accomplish suspension wise is not really an off road goal but I want to be able to fly over some of the rough roads and dips etc without feeling it or getting tossed around. I can afford the SAWS but from what I have read I would be spending alot of money on something that has alot more potential than I would ever use. Please help guys I need to get this suspenion done before I go nuts. Thanks

Are you looking for lift or just a better suspension for baha style driving or both?

I wouldnt mind a lift. I want to at least level it out but ride is more important than height

OME shocks and springs all the way around......

I am about to install performance products 1 inch lifting springs with a set of 4 blistein shocks. Like you, I am going for more of a on road performance than off road.

are spacers worth even looking at?

If you're going off-road and driving fast, spacers are not gonna be the way to go in my opinion. They won't ride very well. I would do Old Man Emu like Bruce already mentioned or some SAW's up front. Camburg engineering (the company that makes the SAW's) specializes in off-road racing so they would also be a good choice if plan on getting serious. Maybe some more people will chime in.

Does anybody have the part numberts for the 2wd OME setup all the way around? And maybe a good source to purchase them? I am in SoCal

i dont believe that Camburg makes SAWs, they only supply them. SAWs (Sway-A-Way) are made by Sway-A-Way. Camburg is a custom fabrication shop in Huntington Beach, CA. they do very good work, but dont actually produce SAWs.

I have a 99 2wd with 60K and I WAS having the same problem with the sloppiness in the rears only. Since I was not going to do any off roading I just went the stock route. When ALL of them have to be replaced I may opt for some aftermarket springs/coils, but for now this is all I need. I just replaced my rear springs with Toyota OEM springs...wow what a difference!!!! I picked them up from a member on this board for $40 and I couldn't be happier

I am starting to drool over the OME setup but I dont want to order the wrong stuff. Are there any good contacts in SoCal for OME stuff that might be able to help me put together some part numbers?
