02 taco brake problem

Greatings all
I replaced the rear shoes on the taco because I had a warped drum and it was pulsing.
I got a set of shoes from NAPA and gave a guy at toyota some cash to turn the drums. now my brake peddal is like a sponge.. and the e brake pulls way out... so I adjusted the rears to the point that the ebrake only pulls out 2 inches and the brake peddal is still like a sponge I can pump it and it will have the correct hieight but not the braking power. it is obvious that the fronts are doing all of the work. I am thinking about getting a set of shoes from toyota.. may be the napa shoes are not good? the napa shoe pn is AE589 or the wrong size????
shoes are for 11.61" X 1.97" Brakes
any ideas?
I am taking off work since the brakes are not that good to drive in traffic.

Ebrake needs to come out more. 7-11 clicks I think.

The rear brakes determine the feel. They must not be adjusted properly. I'm not sure the exact procedure, but saw it on here not too long ago. Do a search for "parking brake" or "drum brake adjustment".
