I'm new here so I guess I'll go ahead post this. I bought her about 4 months ago after I sold my 93 Accord rice burner. That car caused me way to many problems, everything from actual car problems to the school resource officer. So far I'm happy with my Yota esp. since I have given her lets just say a tuff time off road plenty of times.

So this is when I first bought her. Drove her over an hr back to my house. Top speed on the interstate is well 65, she'll only do 70 down hill or wide ass open in 4th. Gotta love stock gearing.




Since then I got a new windshield in her, old one was cracked. And re-did the int a little. Just bedlined the floor and painted a few things.



Other than changing the oil and cleanin the plugs I havent done much else to her other than little things. Added in my CB, two new speakers, fixed the blower motor, changed a u joint (almost broke it in half). That and today I finally painted my mirrors OD green.

Future plans:
enclose cab and chop off everything else and just leave skins

Goal is to keep as low as possible on 35's and maybe 37's down the road.

Nice color choice. What did you use to paint the interior?

It only has the 4" but somehow comes out to about 5-6"s. The rear needs some leafs bad, startin to go past flat.

Krylon camo paint, and the bedliner they sell at walmart not sure of the brand but don't ever use it, no enough texture to it and a pain to mix with a full gallon. You need a five gallon bucket the properly mix it, its an oil base to so it has some major fumes. Thanks about the int, I like I still have to do the back but it's to cold to paint and I ran out of paint funds. Also the front plate was on my truck, no lie, within five mins of gettin her home. Bumpers will be homemade, I waitin till my buddy finishes his on his 87 22RET, so far his is looking nice up front,

Rebel pride, also the int is not that clean anymore. The top is like a massive mud sheild for this thing.

Tomorrow I'm gonna fix the doors so they can be removed easliy.

I finally got around to doing the doors. Boy do I love an air chisel. I'll get some pics up tomorrow, gonna ride around for a day with the top and doors off.

Finally got some new rear springs that way I can fix the saggy ass. Still un sure iff I'll add a leaf or two from the old pack yet. Any ideas?

what kind of "new" springs did you get? only way to really know is to put them on the truck then see where that gets you.

They're just stockers but they are in a whole hell of a lot better shape than mine are. Basically this is jst a temp fix, sooner or later I'll put chevys under it or some sort of 1/2 ton spring. Hopefully these dont flaten out to much.

Yeah I put new stock leaf springs on, got about an inch or two out of them and also welded up the rear diff on her, along with new wheel bearings in the back and a new pinion seal. She is down right fun in the mud or any offroad for that matter. The rear being locked makes a workld of difference.

A Few pics fter the rear diff test. She held together well, both me and josh johnson gave her hell.







Yes I know the U-bolts on the drivers side are extra long, still got cut them off a little.

Put some gauges in to keep an eye on the 22RE. Oil pressure at idle sucks (500rpm/5-10psi) need to rise the idle back up a little. But under throttle shes kicks out good pressure 40-65.
