Oakley11's 94 4runner 22RE Build-Up "CLUTCHZILLA"
So I am brand new to this forum and I thought I would keep track of my build process on my new rig!
Sold my Honda Civic just the other day because rice rockets are lame and being fuel efficient is for hippies.

I picked up a 94 4runner with a 22RE under the hood for $3000 from a local redneck, guy was a beauty and so was the truck. The clutch was starting to go on the truck so the guy made me a good deal. Anyways we assumed we would get the truck home....... welllllllllllllll it lasted like 10 minutes, didnt even get half way home lol. Ended up getting it towed to my local shop to get a new clutch.....
Getting Towed 15 minutes after purchase:
After I got the truck back took her out for a tear and she was running like a beaut!
After the First wash:
Now every vehicle needs a name... After the whole Clutch incident my buddy made a joke about my truck looking like godzilla being green and black and the clutch burning out so we dubbed thee CLUTCHZILLA!

Decided today to repaint the rear bumper as it was done very poorly and only to cover up the rust spots. I also did the front bumper, tail lights and badges. I did them on the vehicle and just masked them off because I read a lot of horror stories of people breaking bolts off super easy so i didnt even want to take the chance.
Masked off and Sanded:
Worked awesome just used basic Krylon Paint and Primer Flat Black and it looks awesome now. I used VHT NiteShades on my lights, they went a little darker than I thought but it was pretty tough not to coat it that dark.....
after painting:

Roof Basket just came in at the shipping place just on the other side of the border in MURRRRRIIICAAAA because everything is so much cheaper there, gonna go pick her up on wednesday so i have somewhere to put my spare so that its not eating up cargo space in the back., will post pics after!
