Depending on what you have to spend.... If you're trying to restore this thing to "don't wanna worry about it for YEARS" level..... I would just get an axle restore kit from Malrincrawler or WabFab, ya know? Don't buy some Chinese EBAY CRAP, ok? Those seals need to be OEM OR BETTER!
Also, take a REALLY good look at the brakes... I'm sure when he did the SAS he went through that stuff... MAYBE, .... but make sure and grab some good pads, maybe have the rotors done/turned while you have the hubs off, ya know? I mean, why go through all that and then have to remove them again, eh??????? If they look questionable, just get a new caliper seal kit and pads and have the rotors turned and call it a day. Make sure you have PLENTY of wheel bearing grease(THE PROPER ONE) and possibly have a line on bearings while you're at it, just in case you find one or more has bearing issues, ya know? Go KOYO or better, once again, if you need them.
You'll need;
1. Bearing Grease
2. Gear oil
3. Seals
4. Brake Fluid
5. Possibly stuff's for the brake parts(Including OEM PADS! Don't buy the cheapest ones at O'Reilly, ya know?)
6. pb blaster to soak that crap before you have at it.... don't wanna snap nothing off, and that stuff IS ON THERE, trust me! lol.
Anyone else chime in lol.

Can't say for sure if it is a good deal or not without specs on both trucks like mileage and condition. I can say that it doesn't look like that SAS was a hack job, it looks decent, that front axle is waayy out there, Ive never seen anyone hack into the bumper to make room for the steering box, not saying its bad just an observation.
As for the axle, I would rebuild it and remove it from the truck to add a gusset to the top and also box in the steering stops if those were not done (I doubt there is if there is no gusset) also maybe save up a bit and upgrade the axles while it is apart if it still has the stock birfields in it.

You will have to relocate your spring hangers of your putting the maarlin springs on, if those are f150 springs maybe better quality but you will find out and let us know. A lot of people are really happy with marlin springs. O wait all of them, or maybe I just haven't came across a bad response yet hehe
