I haven't personally done the SR5 gauge cluster swap, but want to eventually, I really want the factory tach. I know Terry87 has done several. On one of his build threads he said that some of them are interchangeable, and just plug in, on the ones that don't you have to run a wire from the negative side of the coil to a a screw hole on the back of the cluster marked with the letter "P"....I won't quote his whole post, I'll just give you a link to his thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...l#post52117333
Post # 1454. If you have any questions you could send him a pm, he is a great guy, and always willing to give a helping hand, good luck!

Sweet thanks! While following the rabbit hole on that thread I also found this awesome write up that answers a lot of questions:

That's a good write up too! I'm going to have to bookmark that one for when I eventually do mine!

Nice video. A very very small part of me misses wheeling in Washington. Lived in Everett for a couple years in high school and wheeled a 79 Yota all around marysville / Monroe /snohomish. My step dad still drive a bus for mukilteo school district . Your runner sounds amazing by the way.

Well after this last wheeling trip I've decided that I needed to add a new item to my "to do" list.
Mods:
10. Add front locker (Spartan, Aussie, or Grizzly - not sure which to go with. Been doing a lot of research.)
My truck tackled one of the toughest trails at walker however things could have been easier if I had my front locked up. I'm leaning towards a lunchbox I just don't know which to go with. I'm hearing really good things about the Spartan. Would love to hear from you guys on what you think.

Very stable. I usually take 75* turns in 3rd lol. As in a turn at a stop light for example. Then again I do have a steering stabilizer which I highly recommend. I can't really comment on flexibility other than I tackled one of the hardest trails in Walker Valley last weekend with no problems what so ever. I'm not one of those guys who goes around town looking for ˟˟˟˟ to flex my rig on though so you might have to search around.
