I had a one piece but it was way too tall, I heard a new one just came out for it or something aswell, Im not worried about leaks though I used Aviation form-a-gasket on it, anyone thats used it will know I have nothing to worry about!

I "Finished" it and insured it today! death wobble is bad at 60km/h and 90km/h its like, hold on for dear life, damn LTB's... but its smooth at 85km/h though so... thats my new cruising speed. Other than that it drives nice, I have to fix the floors and my heater system which is missing the air vent open/close thing so its constant fresh air coming though the vents... thermostat is stuck open, fuel and temp gauge aren't working either but... it DRIVES!

My gumbos used to give me scary ass Death wobble. Like so bad my head would hit the roof and i swear one of my tires would jump off the ground. The balancer said it was like 2 Pounds out of balance since i tore off a few lugs on the tires. 2 bottles of the heavier airsoft pellets in each tire took the wooble away, well most of it.

So, ive been driving it for awhile now, I still dont have a temperature or gas gauge working.

Does anyone know wiring very well? Diagrams have been no use, that or my sender isn't working but I pulled it and and it looks fine, did the thermostat while I was at it so my heat works great now . Theres two wires that im confused about, one is Dark green with a red stripe with a connector that fits onto the temp. sender, so thats where ive plugged it into, the other is yellow with a green stripe and a grey spade connector on the end.. it seems to have no place to go, anyone know where that one goes specifically? This is a 20R btw.

One more wire I cant figure out is black with a heat protective sleeve over it, a ring terminal on the end.. its on the drivers side wheel well its in the same harness as the alternator wiring I believe, its pretty long like it goes onto the block somewhere near the exhaust, cant tell though.. diagram was no help.

That black wire with the heat sleeve is a ground for the alt. system i believe..... This is just off the top of my head. I know that there is a ground coming off the alternator harness, and it did have a ring on the end.

Smile good job

man you pulled off one hell of a job right on it makes me happy to see things comming together like this i have an 89 4runner and its getting pretty rough but i have some big plans for it and just running through this thread its most deffinatly taken a bit of a load off my back just because it just shows me once again that with the time and effort i can pull it off too. thanks for posting and ya i know what black wire your talkin aobut i did a swap from the 22re to a 3vze i think it is well the V6 big mistake i know but ya i ran into a couple wire problems and i ahve a black wire around my altinator somewhere in there that just dangles cause i couldn't figure out where it went if anywhere so i just used one of those little zip strap things and made sure it was out of the way but again man good work and out of curiosity how old are you?

Its not as nice as it looks, supports are really rusty, missing the end caps and its kissed a few trees. Chrome still shines though Probably replacing it when I swap everything to the new frame as the bumper bolt locations are totally different and il probably have my winch working by then.

The in cab videos are easy to take, my camera wedges between the gauge cluster hump and the windshield

Sweet buildup, really like it, exhaust sounds good, my 81's muffler is rusted to crap so maybe i'll get one of those mufflers. What Belzona product did you use? The website has so many difference products.
