Vaccuum Gauge

Does anyone have a vaccuum gauge that they would sell and ship to me for $10.00? Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Sean

haha, wow that was fast. I even have one of those stores close. Is this just for a quick test, or is it something you can hook up permanently?

Well I think you have to run it through either a plugged hole somewhere....I don't know, my auto teacher told me that he would show me how to put it in. I think it is like any other gauge like a tac, fuel pressure, etc.... Cause I have seen ones for permanent use, and test use. I think they have a couple on summitracing.com

yea, if u get like a cluster gauge type. All you really need is to its a T to split it off.

The type I posted is used for testing though, so u can use it on any car...

I know what you meant, I just want one specified for the purpose. Not that I'm afraid to rig something up, half the stuff on my truck is rigged up lol! I just want something that I know will be reliable. Although for $10 it's not that big a deal anyway....

You can monitor your driving habits and maybe change them to save gas. The higher the vacuum the better your mileage. You can get aa perminate one at Checher Auto for about $20. I was thinking of running one for a while to see if I could get more mpg. Find a vac line on your intake and add a "T" and run your line.

Woah, forgot about this thread.......Anyway, yeah Gerdo pretty much has it down. I have heard of people getting these and they have improved their gas mileage by watching it.
