1989 Toyota 4Runner

Well as much as it pains me, its time for this old truck to move on to a new owner. Located in Monroeville, PA which is about 20 minutes away from Pittsburgh.

Heres the breakdown:

1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5
3.0 V6 and 5 speed manual tranny
129,xxx miles
Clutch went in at 114,000 miles
Timing belt and water pump at 105,000
Spark plugs, wires and cap at 120,000
Kuhmo Road Venture A\T KL78 31x10.5x15 have MAYBE 1000 miles on them.
Warn manual hubs
TRD SHIFT KNOB!!!!
ISR mod
2" Exhaust with glasspack muffler. (sounds nice not too loud)
K&N airfilter. I will include a recharge kit.
Infinity Kappa perfect 4" speakers in the dash
No radio currently but will install to suit
Power locks (aftermarket)

The truck just has some basic body work done. little if ANY rust on the body.
New bumper
New grill
new left corner lens
valence repainted.

frame is good, just surface rust.

The interior is in GREAT shape for an 18 year old truck. It has NEVER been smoked it.

This truck runs and drives great. It REALLY dont want to sell it, but im moving to Arizona and cant afford to park two trucks on ASU's campus. My Dad says we have one too many toys in yota land..two 4runners a tacoma a lexus, camry, four bikes, moutaineer, A4, corsica, TR6 My mom is moving to the city so thats not an option eaither.

I babied this truck for the 3 years I drove it. It rarely saw 4k RPM's.

EXTRAS!!!!

Stock Wheels
Set of Black Rock Crawlers 15x8's
Rear Glass and window regulator
Spare Tire (not attached to truck)
extra set of rear badges.
chrome push bar with PIAA 525s (add $250)

Please PM me if you are interested and want to stop by and see the truck.
and pictures of course are below. CLICK FOR A SLIDESHOW. if you want to see any other pics let me know.

The picture with the push bar on shows the old hood. That hood was rusty and was REPLACED with a nice rust free hood that I had painted (before it was installed) late last year.

Price is $3450 OBO. My dad and I have a lot of money into this truck and in this part of the country you won't find a 4runner in this kind of shape. Please feel free to PM me and ask any questions. If you want to take a test drive or see it, please dont hesitate.

what are you waiting for...make an offer

Dude, if you HAVE to sell it put it on CraigsList. I put my 4Runner on there when I was going to sell it and I had people from all over wanting to buy. It actually got pretty annoying. I'm sure you'll have better luck there than you would here.

When you think about it, this is actually not the best place to sell your Toyota, because if you're on this website, chances are the viewer already has a Toyota they are in love with.

After I saw all the interest in my 4Runner I thought to myself, "WTF am I thinking?" Could I replace this vehicle, in this condition, for $3500. NO!!!!

Don't sell it man, you WILL regret it eventually. See: "wish I still had my 1st Gen."

I'm surprised, really. Your truck really is in excellent condition for its age. But you do have a Taco, and I sold mine to buy a 4R. Either are great vehicles. Good luck at school.
