Running 36x14.50x15 on a 3inch suspension lift

Well I looked and searched and couldn't find any info on this so I figured I would ask, I came across a decent set of 36's for a good price. Right now I am running 33x12.5 with a 3 inch suspension lift, I am planning in the future to do chevy swap and yota rears up front (just need to buy the hangers and shackles)

Anyways I am pretty sure I can stuff these 36's under there as is but am not sure, also figured I would have to regear and not sure to what ratio.

All this is on a 1985 4runner, other pertinent info would be that it has a aussie locker in the rear and I have no idea what size gears I presume Stock.

re gear for sure.

you will have to move the axle forward maybe two inches the width of the tires will be an issue at full compression and steering locked. 14.50 is really wide for three inch lift but should be manageable.

Dont get 5.71s...too weak. Get 5.29s and stick with them, they work well with 35ish tires. I hope you plan on running wheels with lots of backspacing cuz you will need it for 14.50s. Even then i imagine fender clearance will be tight so maybe think about doing a body lift... Yes, gears are kinda expensive but you if must drive the truck with the 36s you still can but besides being a slug it will kill your motor and trans over time. But ya probably already know that!
