put the swampers on today
i ordered the 33x12.50 tsl radials direct from swamper to go om my 94 with a 3" body lift. i was running 32x11.50 rv radials prior.
the rumor that they run narrow is definately true!! they are really narrow. i actually think my old tires were wider. i was hoping they would be wider, but it is what it is. they look ok, but not 100% what i was hoping for. the truck looks lower and skinnier to me for some reason, knowing that they are a good bit taller than the old worn out rvt's. maybe if they were on 8" wheels they may look better than on the 10's.
they ride pretty good and have a little roar/hummm, but nothing overly bad.
i will try to get pics tomorrow. i dont have any before pics. not that much of a looker now, but that was never intended for it anyhow--other toys took that spot. being married and broke now, no more lookers or toys.
finally took some pics today. this is the first snow that i can remember sticking since the late 80's so i got kida carried away outside today! generally dont see snow here--only the second time like this ever for me. not the best pics, but the best i could get.
here ya go:

I got the same EXACT tires UPS and I sent them back because I thought they looked too narrow. I called the guys at Interco and they told me they had changed the design on those. I ordered 32 tsl 10.50 instead. They are suppose to be the same as my old ones that I like.
Post up some pics..

if the tread pattern was as wide as the whole tire (tread and sidewall) they would be awesome. the tread patern is what is narrow and make the whole tire look narrow. they suit me fine, not really picky. i just wanted some swampers. dont need em, but they are kewl!

Im taken mine off here soon becuase the tread is worn down no other reason. I absolutly love mine. when i first got them the guy that was helping lift my truck was amazed how narrow they were. We pulled his jeep up next to my 4runner and his 35x12.50s where way wider then my 33x12.50s. we almost thought i had 10.50s but the swampers were as tall as his 35s. when you lower the pressure down they tend to spread out but at 32+psi they look way skinny. With these tires i ran them at a low PSI to smooth out the ride due to the tread being a bit rough on the road anyways. Just recomend you take it slow if your gunna roll on the paved roads at low pressures. Rips the tread up with the potholes at high speeds and low pressure.

oh yeah those boys make anything look mean. off topic i know, but id like to find a set of tiny swampers and put them on my trailer. not functional sense the trailer has no power of its own so traction isnt needed but it would make it just mean looking parked next to all the other guys.

They're new... the noise will change. Word of advice, rotate them FREQUENTLY. Frequently, as in like every 2000-2500 miles kind of frequently or they WILL chop to hell, and once they do you're never gonna get 'em to smooth out. With mine, I'd rotate them every 1000 miles just because it only took me 5 minutes (helps having a lift, and not costing me anything other than 5 minutes after work) but even then they'd be starting to chop a little bit. But rotate them frequently enough and you'll be fine.
If they get chopped, you can kiss any hopes of a smooth ride goodbye.
Fuggin AWESOME in the mud though.... they'd run circles around my procomps. However, since my runner is now my daily driver, I'd take the procomps over my tsl's in a heartbeat.
