BFG Baja T/A Good for rocks?

I was offered a great deal on some 35 12.50 15 BFG Baja T/A's with about 80% and was wondering if anyone has experience with them on the rocks. My 33 inch mickey thompson Baja claws are pretty chewed up and I wonder if I should jump on these?

They are supposed to be a pretty tough tire. I think the tread compound is fairly hard so likely they won't have the same grip as a softer compound tire, but they will have better cut and puncture resistance:

They're extremely tough tires, and that's accomplished with lots of plies and hard compound tread, they don't flex enough to really work on rocks.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I might pick them up just because im getting them for a good price. I think I could turn them for some decent profit.

rocks prob not, they are a bias tire--which is good, but its made for going fast and not getting flats in the baja.
