4th gen 4runner wheel size
I am hoping to get some recommendations on wheel size to get the wheel to match more closely the width of the fender flares on my 08 runner. I don't want to use spacers so I am looking at a set of new wheels.
I am assuming the stocks (17" sport wheels) measure about 4.5" offset and about a 7" or 7.5" width. Can anyone confirm this?
Now the new, can anyone tell me whether an 18" x 8.5" with 5.5" backspacing will rub on things? It might not be an issue if my assumptions of the stock wheels are right, because if right this would leave me with the same wheel stance as stock (not what I want).
Second, can anyone tell me where an 18" x 8.5" or 9" with 4.5" backspacing puts the outside of the wheel/tire. I am assuming that this is what I want but if anyone could post a pic I would appreciate it. I am planning to go with stock outer diameter tire, so pics of 35s might not help much, althought I'd still love to see them.
Thanks!

Stock is 17x7.5 +30 offset = 5.4" BS (to the outer bead)
An 8-8.5" wide wheel with 0 to -6 offset is ideal for a wider tire/stance. I've seen 9" with -13 offset with bigger meat attached.
