3.4 swap with SC and no lift?
Don't get mad I swear I've read through a ton of posts and can't find anything definite because everyone does it slightly differently. This is all for a '91 4Runner 4x4 5 speed. The IFS must stay.
Questions-
Can you swap in the 3.4 without a body lift AND the supercharger?
Do you have to swap oil pans with the 3.0?
Searching for a 3.4 I've heard pulling one from a T100 gives you a better fitting version, but you can only use an ECU from a 97-98, true?
Basically I just need the rules of the swap.

1. you will need to do something to clear the motor. Some can cut the middle bracing out, others have to cut a hole in their hood where the motor hits. some raise the hood up a little. Just get a small body lift man. Its not the end of the world.
2. Yes you will have to swap to the 3.0 pan. Honestly, I have been swapping the pickup, AND the tray thingy from the 3.0 as well. I have never seen a leaking oil pan on a 3.0, so I don't see why you couldn't use the sandwiched tray again. Just make sure you get a good seal with gray RTV on both sides.
3. A 3.4 is a 3.4. IF you get a 3.4 from a 2wd t100 then supposedly the pan will clear. If you already have the 3.0 junk, just use it man. It will make things easier on ya.

Hope this helps. Good luck with the swap.

Thanks guys, I swear I have searched and read my ass off. People just do this swap so many different ways. Seems with no body lift I'll need to cut but can cover that up with a sport scoop, I'm hoping the SC fits as well.

Mmost likely you will have to trim the inner support structure and cut a hole/ w scoop if you do not want to go body lift. My '88 needed a bit more trimming and clearancing than I have seen most 89-95's needing and it still fit under a "Tacoma-alike" scoop. There are picts at the end of my build thread in my sig.
Do you have to swap oil pans with the 3.0?
If you get your donor from a 4wd IFS T-100 than no. You can stick with the pan that comes with it. I believe it is the exact same pan as the 3.0.
Searching for a 3.4 I've heard pulling one from a T100 gives you a better fitting version, but you can only use an ECU from a 97-98, true?
Yes this is true. Only the 97-98 T-100 ECU's are equipped to handle the supercharger's extra fuel requirements, and even then, I would recommend the URD fuel upgrade.
