nah... I switched to synthetic around that mileage.

na, i switched over the gf's saab at 160,000 with no issues. some people say to run a synth blend for a while to help slowly dissolve any crud (rather than have it dissolve all at once with a full synth), but i didn't know about that when i did the switch and ran into no problems.

I made the jump @ 86K and now at 111K with no issues.

I switched everything over, engine oil, tranny oil, axle oil, brake fluid - you name it. Not that you really have to but I figured what the hell, lets do it all. I went with Mobil1 mostly because I could easily get it when I needed it - Amsoil was interesting but I hated the fact I had to meet some guy in a parking lot or in his garage behind his house if I needed more fluid.
