Put a 3.0 inline 6 Toyota turbo-diesel in it. No kit needed.

Now that would be a feat of engineering! Kinda like what some of the tuners used to do with the Mr2's...

Per rules of the internet: Dyno chart or it didn't happen.

I went wheeling with a guy who did this 5.0 swap. his only problem was cooling but thats partly because he didnt have a shrowd around his pusher fan and it was a smaller single core radiator i think he said. but as far as power wow that thigs was amazing. everyone at trail gear when i toured there shop recomended it aswell and now i see why awesome swap

WARNING: Dynos can be made to lie! A decent operator can manipulate the data to suite his/her needs.

There was a real good article in HOT ROD on this and I'm quite sure you can Google tons of info also.
Its a test that involves doing calculations, which can be manipulated, there have been quite a few supposed "expert" tuners who have manipulated dyno numbers to show customers how much more powerful their cars are after the work they spent crazy money on, only to be wiped off the track by cars that were really tuned right, happened alot to 5.0 guys and has continued in the turbo tuner ranks to lots of unsuspecting customers who can't understand why they are getting beat by lesser cars.

yea thats kinda what i was thinking.. upgrade the turbo on your supercharged engine?? DERRRRRRR. sure id like a picture of that...

but actually hellion is making a turbo kit that pushes through the eaton blower on the 03-04 cobras. it makes ridiculous power without much effort or excessive heating of the air.. nice way to go

After looking at my options, I decided on the 3.4, normally aspirated. With a custom 2.25" exhaust and high flow muffler/cat combo, I have enough power for my needs. I might supercharge in the future, but that's a ways off.

Mostly because it's a bolt in with minimal mods and I was on a time constraint. My ideal would have been the Lexus V8 swap done by a few guys.

I wanted to stay Toyota. Maybe it's just me, but to open the hood and have something else under there would be like picking up a hot chick, only to find out that she is a he...

I have a 302 stroked sitting in my garage lying in wait.. Im going to use the 5 spd and the NWOR kit... Just a matter of finding time.. Id go for the small block man, in the long run you'll be waaaaay happier... think bout this.. pour 500 into a small block, that gets you an intake and carb which makes them come alive.. throw 500 at a 3.4 that gets you a intake and MAYBE just a MUFFLER, and you get a bit of throttle tip in, yay......
