Who's Running 35x12.50x15 on their SAS
I am getting ready to start my SAS and just needed some opinon's:
87 runner
TG ifs eliminator kit 4"
TG rear kit 5"
84 front axle
15x8" steelies with 4" backspace
here is the deal, I am going to run 35x12.5x15 on the above rims. I need to take the wheels in to have 31's off and the 35's put on, but the tire shop can't tell me if there will be any rubbing without having the truck in the shop. Truck will be on stands when I need the tires done. Anyone running a similar set up and tire size? Any rubbing issues? My biggest concern is the 4" back space of the wheels but from what I gather, with the 1.5" wheel spacers I should be alright
opinions?
Thanks

I would have gotten the 15x8's with 3.75" BS, gives you a little better clearance.
As far as 15x10 vs 15x8, pros and cons to both. 10's give you a wider stance but than you need flares. 8's tend to keep the bead seated better when running lower pressures.
Monday I am swapping my 15x10's out for 15x8's...

Thanks for the input everyone. The backspacing was my main concern and that sounds like it will be fine since I am only 1/4" from stock.
As far as the 15x8 or 15x10 thing, I am going to run the 15x8's for now since I just bought them last year. Next set I buy will be beadlocks and I will cross that bridge when I get there.
Again thanks everyone for the information and opinions, makes purchasing a little easier with other's input
