SAS - is this normal for hole in frame at front shackle?

I used the plasma cutter to cut out the holes for the front shackles, but a stock hole in the frame is right above it. This is where the jigs put the hole though, is this normal? Or do I have a problem? Its and 86 4Runner and a Trail-gear kit. Thanks for the help.

Ya might want to put a plate over that to help strengthen the hole you just cut and the hole above it. Just an idea to help strengthen it.

Thanks, has anyone seen this on a 4Runner? I was looking and found some pics of trucks and I don't think they have a hole there at all.

Mine also had that hole. They are on most newer rigs i think.

Weld the shackle tube where it goes. then take a plate or so and grind it down so it goes over somewhat smoothly and weld that on to brace it up..
