brakes interchangeable?
hey everyone,
i just got an '82 axle for my '86. IM SOOO EXCITED!!!!! anyways the entire brake system on the axle is rusted out and the pads are hopelessly stuck to the rotors. would i be able to take the rotors and calipers off of my ifs setup and put them on the straight axle?

Rotors, no. Calipers, yes.
Read all about it:

Actually I think there is a write up on here somewhere to fit the IFS rotor hubs on thereby allowing IFS rotors to fit and making wheel spacers un-necessary, but it looks like a PITA.
