driving to work today for some reason I really got in the mood to go wheeling. which i have yet to do in this truck. so decided to check when anyone was planning a badlands trip. i'm gonna see what the wife has planned and try to make this. might bring a buddy to ride with me.
JoeZ....I would be comming from the same direction roughly.
now jsut wondering which truck to bring. the 92 4 runner that is basicaly stock witha 3 inch lift and 32's, or the 88 S-10 blazer that is stock except the LT1 under the hood, or I could jsut bring the quad!!!

the blazer has even less ground clearance than stock with the engine and exhaust and all that is on there. might be good in some mud but that is about it. plus it still needs a little work to be totaly ready for a trip like that!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
My toyota is giving me a lot of trouble as of late, it wont stay running. I think i may have a loose vacume line or just a vacume leak, but i have to find it and fix it before the run. And I am out of birfields (Open diffs and 32's, , still grenaded one). So, i may just wheel the Blazer in the quarry.
Its to pretty to ruin in the fun stuff.

im spending this weekend scrounging the yards for some, i may be able to find some CHEAP. if i dont, thank you for the link.
the good news is that the truck is running again, i cant believe why it wasnt running. the front of the air snorkel thingy in the grill had frozen up with ice over all but just a little bit. The motor wasnt getting any air at least it was simple. I thawed it out and now it purrrrrs.

well i'm pretty sure now that i'm going to be there. the wife decided she wants to ride along....I didn't think she would be into it at all!!
so should I throw the CAI with the open K&N on the truck or keep the air box on there? i'm thinking problaby not much watter to get up in there so the CAI might be alright!!

Forest isnt going to make it. No front drive shaft. He's stuck in Maryland still waiting on parts to finish his SAS. Gonna miss the first couple of days of school and still be without a front driveshaft for a couple weeks. SOOO..unless you can convince him that he doesnt need 4wd, we are a no show.
