first off, you STEAL a truck, and I assure you thieves will have no problems driving off with your "auto locker". Since you have your name and home town posted up, why not go ahead and add your home address to the list to make it even easier to find you?
The internet is a bad bad place, don't ever underestimate a criminal.

what the hell is this bash on me day?
i never did brag or be cocky about anything, im only posting it to put the idea and buildup out there for anybody else who would ever want to do something.
and front locker isnt going to make the CVs anymore prone to breaking then without, actually its going to save them, as with my manual hubs.

I'll go ahead and give out the first " I told you so " before you even hit the trails. If you believe any of what you just said to be true I wouldn't want to be in your group when you're sitting in the middle of the trail holding everyone up with a broken CV and Tie-rod at the same time, just ask Austin what he thinks of lockers and 3rd gen IFS. There's a reason they came and scavenged parts from your truck that night. There's an old saying about polishing a turd that is appropriate here.

NoNo I thought the turd polishing was funny, I spent enough time with blake (200+ miles) to know he like myself does a ton of research before pulling the trigger. He doesnt seem like one to just rush into something (I could be wrong) but certain thats not the case. I can wait to see the mag spread I was just trying to make certain the ego stayed in check (while we are somewhat jealous). Blake by the way I found that dealerships card that cut you key I think it was Capital Toyota.

Aaron, regardless of what you thought was funny, the cocky comment really did piss me off. im excited not cocky.
and Jeremy, do realize with a crawler installed, and lockers, that yesss... i will save CVs.... thats all im going to say, and should I believe it? yes i should because ABQ Jim, has maybe ripped cvs twice or 3 times in his 4wd career and runs duals on IFS with 35s and front arb with rear e locker.
ill break less then a hack job SAS for certain.

From my observation, every person at tellico thought you were a cocky young kid that was only interested in blabbing about himself. Now thats just an observation, I never once talked to you directly. If there was anyone there that DISAGREES with that statement please correct me. Now don't go thinking I'm some a-hole, everyone that knows me will tell you I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I'm trying to help you out so maybe you can actually get along with people at future events. You're hanging out with a very modest bunch of people, if you look at the "popular" guys like brian and bud what do they have in common, you won't ever hear them bragging or talking about themselves. Those are the kinds of people you should emulate. Being so "excited" about your IFS "upgrade" and "4 page magazine spread" will never win you a single brownie point around here as far as I'm concerned.
As far as my "hating" on your truck I'm stating an opinion of which you do not have to take at all of course. You might not like the way mine is setup and honestly I wouldn't care. I foresee you on the side of the trail crying when you bend up the sheet metal for the first time, or even worse if you roll it. I wouldn't Idolize a 3rd gen out west with a crawler and front locker and think you will have similar "success" although i wouldn't call breaking only 3-4 CVs a success. Rocks out west are like sandpaper and throttle isn't needed as much to get by, hence the cralwer helping so much. Out here in the east things are slippery and appropriate throttle and momentum control get you much further along. In that environment when you get bound up the first time you will hear two things, plink and snap. The first will be the CV, the second will be your steering rack, neither of which are designed to take the abuse you will be giving them. When I mod a truck the goal is to always take out weak links, not intentionally install them. If you really want to get into this hobby buy a DD high gas mileage ride and do your 4runner the right way. If you want to do anything more than the bunny slope you'll thank me later. I'm sure you're familiar with 'mossyrocks' or whatever his SN is from UY, now thats a 3rd gen I'd like to wheel with. You won't see me following a locked IFS anytime soon.
I'm not a bad guy, and honestly I felt bad for the way people were treating you, but to some small extent you deserved it. Grow up and think about something other than yourself, and people might start liking you.
