what should i pay: damaged 95 4runner
#21
does it look like just the ball joints that need replacing on the suspension? im not that familer with steering components. and i know its a 3vze but i dont think ill mind too much... my plan with this if i got it for the right price would be making it driveable , and drive it for a bit then selling my truck i have now and sas it.. as far as 500 to 1000 even i think its worth more than that.

If you think a wrecked 4Runner that isn't a running/driving rig is worth more than $1000, then good luck. I work on, around, and with these 4Runners every day. A 2nd gen is a money pit, and isn't worth much. I see them for sale from $500-$1500 on CL ALL the time. There are several right now for $1200, and one for $800.

looks more like a parts 4runner to me. i would really look for something else if it was me but if you still want it after looking at the pictures id say $400-600.

I would agree with $500 max, the title is most likely salvage, have the HG's been done yet? It hasn't ran in a long time, the lower control arm tower off the frame is most likely bent since it doesn't take much to do it. My wife's 94 4runner that was 2wd but very clean with 148,000 miles on it, moon roof, power everything, fully loaded and service records from when it was new sold for $2K.
