2000 4Runner SR5 w/TRD Supercharger
Alright guys after selling my 2nd gen last year I have been in the market for another 3rd gen. I plan to go look at this one tomorrow and wanted to see what you guys thought.
Here is the specs..
Very Clean 2000 Toyota 4-Runner 4WD. 6 cylinder with TRD Supercharger. Leather interior, sun-roof, roof-rack, tow-hitch, all-weather floor mats and cargo mat. 226K miles and runs great. I had a new timing belt, valve cover gaskets, cylinder gaskets, transfer case oil change, differential oil change, and rear brakes done last year. I have service history back to original owner. I am the second owner of the car. I bought it with 75K miles. It has bilstein shocks and the tires are a few years old, but still have good tread on them.
Here are a few pics...
Any insight that you guys would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated. What would you say would be a fair price to pay for this truck?
Thanks in advance.

I paid $7k recently for a 2000 with 110k miles on it. It didn't have the supercharger, or leather. I also knew the owner of my 4runner and knew how it had been driven and taken care of so to me that made a difference.
What is the owner asking for it?

Thanks guys. I did go look at it this evening and it was just as described. The owner gave me a binder of every service record including oil changes, tire rotations etc. for the truck. It runs and drives like a champ and is extremely clean. It has a few minor blemishes in the clear but the interior looks like new without a single stain! I am extremely excited to have another 3rd gen.
I do have plans to make it moderately trail worthy but I want to be able to drive it on the street as well even though it isn't my DD. I do have some previous experience with 4Runners after owning an 84, 94, 97, and now a 00. Here is a few items I am thinking of as far as mods/upgrades. As always your opinions, thoughts, and ideas are encouraged and appreciated as I am sure things have changed in the Toyota offroad world in the last two years.
Running board removal!!
Toytec 3" lift
Toytec 1" BL
305/70/16 Nitto Trail Grappler
Painted or powder coated wheels
Front bumper (like the on my 2nd gen in my sig)
8K Winch
I am sure I will think of more as I have the opportunity to work on it but that is a decent start I think.
I snapped this on the way home with it tonight ( the SC is just plain sick)

So I take it you bought it? How much if you don't mind?
The supercharger is a lot of fun, if it doesn't have a fuel upgrade already that would be one of the first things on my list or a meth kit. Toss a smaller pulley on it while you are at it.

Yes, I bought it. I got a really good deal I think. $4800
I have a ton to learn about the SC as this is my first experience with having one on any of my vehicles. May I ask where I can find more info about the above mentioned mods?

The SC is not that complicated, just a few basics such as the fuel upgrade kit (URD 7th injector is the most popular way to do that, can use meth injection as well if you are a bit more adventurous). Then toss a smaller pulley on it and enjoy. A 2.2 pulley should work fine if you have 93 octane around you.
If you use meth injection you can run the 2.1 pulley.
The only other thing to note would be transmission mods for the auto. Big transmission cooler first off and then a valve body mod. Past those you should be good to go and have around 230-250whp.
